The summer of 2021 is gonna be special for at least two reasons; The first is that after drastically modifying the bottom of the hull with a four-inch angle grinder, Game Over is now 10 mph faster than it’s ever been and I have fallen in love with it all over again. The second reason is that after 3 years of planning, my family and I are finally taking an epic boating trip to a magical place—the Colorado River.

For years, my wife and I spent every other weekend camping, floating, and racing our jet boat at “The River”. However, after moving cross-country, it’s now been six years since we’ve been back to the spot where we met, fell in love, and got engaged. No joke, in 2003 I met my wife at a beach along the banks of The River and a year later, I asked her to marry me while we floated down the river in my jet boat.

This summer we are going back and bringing Game Over, my twin-turbo 711ci Hemi-powered Placecraft Jet boat with us. I cannot wait to dip my toes in the crystal clear water, see old friends, and bolt in my favorite Finnegan Speed and Marine project.

To celebrate this monumental moment in our lives and because it’s too hot to flex a black shirt at the river, I’ve created an extra spicy, Royal Blue version of the Game Over tee. It’s just as cuddly soft as the original shirt. It still has the awesome sparkly graphics on the back, which are inspired by Game Over’s beautiful metalflake gel coat. What it doesn’t have is my usual, UV-absorbing black hue to overheat your innards as you rock this shirt all summer long like I’m going to. Thanks for the support.
