I know you’ll find this hard to believe but I actually managed to break the Hemi again. That’s right, Blasphemi is sitting in the corner of my garage, with fluids dripping from every orifice. There is a silver lining from the latest blow up, though, and that’s a lesson I’ll never forget. I tend to remember the ones that hurt the most, financially speaking. I installed the First/Second gear shift lever onto the side of the transmission upside down and as a result, zinged the Hemi to 10,000 rpm when I went to shift the trans during the holeshot at Rocky Mountain Raceweek 2.0. Oops!

The end result was a nice size dent in the oil pan, shrapnel everywhere, and a hefty bill for a total rebuild. Again. Anyway, I’m not too upset because it’s moments like this one that keep my relationship with the Hemi and Blasphemi, spicy. It also inspired me to release a new Finnegan Speed and Marine t-shirt design that accurately depicts the Hemi’s appetite for Benjamins. Do me a favor and cop one for yourself, your family, your friends, total strangers and the mailman. Every dollar you spend goes directly into the Hemi’s crankcase so that I can keep on doin wheelies, makin smoke clouds, and learnin’ lessons the hard way. Thank you for your support.
