Pop quiz, Hotshot: What’s the easiest way to build a fast car?
Answer: Start with a light one.
Sure, you could do that. You could build a Mustang or a Camaro. Both are lightweight, proven to work, and can be modified front to back and top to bottom with just a few clicks on your keyboard.
Follow that plan and you will have a fast car but sadly nobody will remember your name. There’s a zillion cool Chevy and Ford Musclecars already cruising the block. But, build something outrageously stylish like a 1961 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, a car that was never intended to be fast, and even if it takes four freakin years before the thing moves under its own power, everyone will remember your name, especially if goes like hell.
The Caddy makes all the sense in the world to me and I won’t stop working on it until it makes the right noises, welds a smile to my face when I mash the gas pedal, and shows the world that its not how fast you go, it’s what you make fast that matters.
I hope this shirt inspires you to dare to be different and to think outside of the box. I know that every time I see this super soft tee that it motivates me to keep on working on The Caddy. Coming Soon!
