Finnegan Speed and Marine

Win Finn’s G-Body!

The early to mid-1970s were a dark time in American automotive history. Horsepower was down, bodylines became boring and car culture suffered. Thankfully by 1978 Detroit got its act together and decided to once again give consumers what they actually wanted—sex on four wheels. Thanks to its success in NASCAR with the G-Body platform, GM decided to turbocharge the 3.8L V8 in the Buick Regal in an effort to “Win on Sunday and sell on Monday.”

This 1985 example of the awesome Regal T-Type makes way more than the 150hp of the carbureted ’78 model and it’ll destroy tires without pissing off your neighbors as you cruise home late on a Friday night because the turbo makes a nice muffler for the angry V6 under the hood.

G-body cars represent some of the last of the front-engine, large V8, rear-wheel drive muscle car formula. While the competition moved to front wheel drive and underpowered four and six cylinder engines, GM’s G-body platform stuck with V8 engines and turbocharged V6s while also becoming one of the last production-based vehicles raced in NASCAR. Put simply, my Regal has racing roots which means this super classy mid-size goes like hell, and it could be yours!

Win Finn’s Turbocharged Buick Regal T-Type!

This 1985 Buick G-body monster is clean AF. I scooped it up in Alabama and brought it home just so I could fix a few things, burn the nipples off the old BFGs, and then give my new ride to one lucky fan. This thing is unbelievably clean inside and out and thanks to the modded 3.8L turbocharged V6, it’s an asphalt rocket.

The 3.8L V6 in my ’85 Regal has ARP head studs, an aftermarket turbocharger and it sings the song of my people.

The bass in the trunk is either the best thing since Dolby or its gonna burn the Regal to the ground. Don’t worry, we’ll science it out before you show up to drive this dime piece home.

Win My G-Body!

Somebody is gonna win the funnest G-Body coupe I’ve ever driven and it comes with bass in the trunk, a fresh interior, and a screaming powerplant.

This car makes over 15 psi of boost and although I don’t know how much that calculates in horsetorques I do know that when i mash the gas pedal my head moves rearward at a 13 degree angle and my pants get tighter.

Act now and this car could be yours!

But wait, there's more!

Three lucky winners will get their choice of FSM Garage gear two wheel hand trucks made by B&P Manufacturing. These 100% aluminum units boast tires that never go flat, lightweight chassis and are available in several color ways to match my favorite FSM project vehicles.
